Unsere Reise-Agentur hat das Naya Gawana im Februar 2024 für drei Nächte gebucht. Obwohl wir weder tauchen noch schnorcheln wollten, haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, denn wir hatten uns eine ruhige Unterkunft mit Charme zum Relaxen gewünscht. Die Anlage hat viel Atmosphäre, der Pool ist grandios (25 m Länge), von dort und vom Jacuzzi aus überblickt man die Bucht. Das Personal war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt keine Plastikflaschen! Man kann sich Wasser an der "Water station" abfüllen. Bei unserer Unterkunft "Bay View Suite" (Nr. 5) handelte es sich um ein alleinstehendes Cottage mit halboffenem Bad und angrenzendem uneinsehbaren kleinen Garten. Es standen Kimonos und Slipper zur Nutzung im Cottage zur Verfügung. Wir genossen es, früh morgens bei einem Kaffee auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Blick auf die Bucht und das Vogelzwitschern zu genießen. Der Blick ist nicht komplett frei, da auch Bäume "dazwischen" stehen, was uns jedoch nicht störte. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wir haben über das Hotel eine Trekking- sowie eine Mangroventour gebucht. Wir empfehlen das Naya Gawana Resort gerne weiter und würden wieder kommen. Miss Martina and Mr. Uwe :)

Wir hatten Bay-View Suite gebucht (Nr. 5), wobei es sich um ein alleinstehendes Cottage mit halboffenem Bad und anschließendem uneinsehbaren Garten sowie Terrasse am Eingang handelte. Wasser konnten wir uns an der "water station" ein paar Meter weiter abfüllen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage ist ruhig, aber abgelegen. Die Ausstattungs des Zimmers war teilweise sehr schlicht. Ein Mitarbeiter hat uns den Zimmersafe erklärt. Wir waren zu dumm dafür. Am Pool viele Moskitos. Wir waren vorher auf Java-Rundreise und hatten dort schmackhaftes Essen. In diesem Hotel schmeckte das Essen einfach nach nichts. Uns wurde dann frische Chili zum Würzen serviert. Im Essen fehlte es aber an Gewürzen. Insgesamt ein enttäuschender Aufenthalt.

Excellent hotel, beautiful views, good food, environmentally friendly, etc. We only stayed there for 3 nights but regretted not extending our stay. The hotel is quiet, there's an infinity pool with gorgeous views of the mangrove, a hot tub for adults only with similar views. There's plenty of deck chairs to choose from. The service is like most places in Bali: super helpful and polite staff who will do everything for you. The food in the restaurant is lovely (I recommend the satay mix that comes in a mini charcoal barbecue to your table!). There are kayaks you can rent and easily go to very near sandy beaches (with some nice snorkeling spots, restaurants, etc). The hotel has water fountains for drinking water as they don't use plastic. The toiletries follow the same pattern (and the bathrooms are outdoors which is really cool). The place is quite isolated, especially because it's near a national park. But if you're looking for nature and quiet, this place is perfect. If anything, I'd say prices can be on the high end for Bali, but I think it's expected for such an isolated place. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Spent a week here and enjoyed my time relaxing and scuba diving. The staff were very attentive and the room was really nice. Large grounds to walk around and the food was good at the restaurant. The diving centre offered trips each day, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The team was great and the diving was unexpectedly good - I’d done no research. Nice to be in this part of Bali. Transfer was well organised from the airport, and the spa massage was great ! I will hopefully be back

Not our kind of place. We booked two nights to allow a day trip to Menjangan Island then ended up doing that before our first night so just spent the second day at the resort. There was no mention on ********** that the bathrooms were open air, something we both really dislike. We never managed to get any hot water in the basin or shower. The basin plug (sink stopper to Americans) was totally seized so it wouldn't seal but, on the other hand, drained very slowly. The curtains were very flimsy, letting in light. There was a light directly outside a window that didn't have a switch and was on until the early hours of the morning. The bed was very hard. On the other hand, the staff were excellent, the location stunning and the food in the restaurant really good.

Sipping on fresh coconut poolside. watching my 9 and 12 year old in the pool all day is just what I needed. They would come out to enjoy a nana split and play pool. The staff even did craft time with them. We stayed in the lumpung suit and it was the perfect size with a built in large bathtub. Our snorkeling tour boat ride was great you can not miss it we saw every school of tropical fish you could imagine. The best part was the staff from management to all the wait staff we already miss them they are a great team. Please go visit them and they monkeys will be sure to greet you as well. We learned this is a locally owned and operated eco resort so please don’t skip it it’s worth the drive.
