Zu einem ganz exclusiven Event extra dorthin gereist und auch übernachtet. Schloss Hotel mit Blick aufs Wasser. Kunst im Park.Pool und Wellness. Anreise vom Stadt-Flughafen Belfast mit Zug (Richtung Bangor)Nur wenige Meter Fußweg vom Bahnsteig bis Hotel.

Just before I start I’m not even sure the words I choose to write will do justice for this hotel. Me and my fiancée recently visited the Culloden to celebrate our engagement, on arrival we were presented with two cupcakes with congratulations written in chocolate on a plate in our room. Oh did I also mention the unexpected upgrade, this was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. The spa facilities are amazing and the place is so clean. Me and my fiancée visited this multiple times during our stay. We had a drink in the bar area, which was so relaxed and very reasonably priced. The selection of speciality teas as well as different coffees was excellent. The breakfast offering was amazing, there was so much choice on the self serve Buffett as well as the option to order extras like omelettes etc All of the staff we interacted with were so friendly and professional at all times. I suppose I should be unbiased and say some not too positive, the only thing I can really say is I was disappointed our stay had to end. We will certainly be returning though. This hotel offers a true five star experience for the price.

We reported several problems with our room when we checked in but none were resolved by the time we checked out 3 days later. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. The bath would not fill with water due to a faulty stopper (we discovered that our friends had the same problem in their room). Our room phone didn’t work and this meant we could not phone reception or order room service. We were told at check in that there was water in our room but there was none. No quality control on rooms.

We arrived early , we were facilitated with an early check in. Spa is lovely and relaxing Bedroom beautiful spacious, we have a garden view. Grounds are very well maintained, plenty of seated areas to sit and take in the beauty of the area. Staff very courteous and helpful

The first hotel on our Titan ‘Best of Ireland’ tour and boy this hotel would take a bit of beating. We spent two nights here, the first night a meal was included at the Cultra Inn located within the grounds. The second night we had an exquisite meal in Vespers. The bedroom was well equipped and comfortable and breakfasts offered everything you could possibly need.

Room was filthy upon arrival phoned reception too inform them. I then asked too be moved too a clean room too which I was told there was no other rooms available. The best they could offer was housekeeping too vacuum & dust and wipe over the room and change our bedding. The bed sheets where still dirty from previous guests hairs in sheets, dust & hair on dressing table, stains all over carpet & also dressing chair bathroom had hair present at basin. I complained when checking out and was offered a refund which took 3 weeks too process after we checked out. They sent my refund too someone’s else bank account I also got charged for someone’s bar tab. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced will not be back. A special night away was totally ruined and constantly made too feel like begging for the refund I shouldn’t have had too wait 3 weeks for.

Exceptional staff in particular Jonathan, Rose, Daniel and Si’ who made the stay extra special with their friendliness. However all staff were extremely friendly and polite. The hotel itself was fine but a few ******* - we had requested the beds be twins but it was made up as a king size, this was sorted swiftly. Urine on the toilet seat was not acceptable but was dealt with quickly but shouldn’t have happened. On our 3rd night I had requested and paid for an additional bed in the room but this didn’t happen and early evening I had to chase it. The bed wasn’t removed the following day it was just left in the room. The shower leaked terribly. The positives of the room were the beautiful views, very calming. We spent a lovely afternoon in the Bollinger Garden as the weather was stunning and a lovely Champagne Afternoon Tea on arrival. I do think the staff make this hotel special along with the stunning grounds and the history of the hotel itself however, I don’t think the hotel lives up to a 5 star unfortunately, high-end 4 star in my opinion.

totally amazing hotel; the grounds have the most amazing statues; rooms are gorgeous; staff is helpful-professional and very friendly/nice. Meals were perfect; bar area is great. I didn't make it to the spa, but I understand it is also wonderful. You will need to take a cab or other transportation to get downtown or other places There are many different areas that you can sit with friends/spouse and enjoy your day/ read etc. Totally amazing. Rooms are large with comfy beds and they have deep soaking tubs. Fantastic Estate

Loved the hotel. The artwork on display is interesting and quirky. The room was very comfortable although water pressure does need to be addressed. The staff were, without exception, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The food was of a high standard and very tasty. Many thanks to the chefs on Friday evening who provided a marvellous three course meal. Breakfast was a buffet style but we ordered from the a la carte menu so breakfast is cooked to order, if you so choose. The Cultra Inn is part of the hotel and a nice place to while away an hour or two. The Bollinger Bar is Absolutely Fabulous, forgive the pun.
