You should post somewhere that the restaurant and bar is closed for renovations

As a person who graduated from Clemson, I hate to give this hotel anything short of a stellar review. The service was fine, and the room was nice, but it was missing a few touches that would make it a 5 star review from me. Maybe some throw pillows for the sofa, tea selection in the room, free coffee in the lobby, etc would change things!

I have stayed here before. Always very accommodating. Decent location to campus. Love the golf course. Reasonable pricing for the room. Slater helped us at the front desk and went above and beyond.

Everything was very clean. The bed and couch was not very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The grounds were very nice but there was construction going on and the pool was closed. They should have told us the pool was going to be closed though, because in August we wanted to cool off. But it's a nice hotel to stay in.
