Die Einrichtungen scheinen für die Anzahl der Gäste, die wir waren, etwas klein zu sein. Der Pool ist sehr klein. Das Essen ist nicht so schlecht, das Buffet wird nur sehr schnell abgeräumt. Die Lage hat mir sehr gut gefallen, es liegt in der Nähe eines kleinen Platzes, wo sehr gutes Essen verkauft wird.

Wir schätzen es sehr, dass wir uns für den europäischen Plan entscheiden konnten. Die Lage ist perfekt für Spaziergänge am Strand und zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurants in Ixtapa.

Male recepcionist was not very professional and instead of letting us know our rooms were not available he made up an excuse that there was a problem with our reservation when that was not the case. Not a welcoming environment. Some staff were very nice but for others it seemed as they were miserable working at the resort. Snobby general comments like “these people eat too much”(stated by a chef) and “I’m tired of these people” obviously in their language which I understand. Entertainment was very disappointing. Overall our stay was not pleasant for what we paid.

Rooms were nice and always cleaned daily. Elevators were super quick. Staff was willing to help when adked. They delivered ice to our room on several occasions. Area around the pool needs more cleaning attention. Waiters at the pool were great, always checking customers needs.
One area of improvement is the food quality at the buffet restaurant. It was middle of the road. Not many food choices. We didnt feel the breakfast or all inclusive option is worth it.

I liked that they upgraded the rooms somewhat, fridge and a larger tv for my room , don’t know about other rooms. Stayed at emporium many times. It’s pleasant and clean and the staff is very helpful or maybe they recognized me since I’ve been visiting so often… well, the staff was nice to me.

Very kind employees for the most part. Hard working and helpful. Limited options for food unless you choose the all inclusive. Easy access to many restaurants a short walk away. Missed having even a small store on property. I read about the crowded pool conditions before our stay but was surprised about the extent of the problem. If you want a place to sit at the pool you need to get there very early. Maybe that’s the norm in the area but it made things challenging for us. The room was comfortable and cool though and we really enjoyed our stay. The guys at the front and the servers in the pool area were great!

The Emporio is perfect for us. We feel well cared for and appreciate the fact that we do not have to take the all inclusive option. Sampling the local restaurants across the street for breakfast and dinner is one of the things we look forward to in Ixtapa. Kudos to the Emporio staff!
