Ich leistete mir ers**al ein für mich so teures Zimmer und wurde in der 2. Nacht, Samstag, von einer sehr lauten Disco und Geschrei im Korridor und im Saal ob meinem Zimmer gestresst. Das hat mich sehr gestört, da ich finde, dass man mich informieren hätte sollen. Ich finde das sehr respektlos. Schade. Insgesamt wirkte auf mich der ganze Betrieb eher etwas gesnobt und arrogant. Das Zimmerpersonal war sehr freundlich.

Really nice hotel with amazing staff and a great restaurant. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and attentive. Be it their breakfast spread, or lunch option or dinner - it was sumptuous. All the staff, the chef and the manager were very attentive to details and were amazing hosts. I stayed there 10 days and met with many of them, had great chats with many of them including Y Roshanth, who I spoke to the most. Thanks North gate team - can’t wait to come again sometime.

This is a satisfying hotel to stay in Jaffna. The staff was really committed to provide a great service. The room condition was also satisfactory. Swimming pool was quite small but more than enough for ordinary swimmers. They had some bicycles which I did not try. It’s a hotel that I might consider to stay again if I ever visited Jaffna.

Overall an excellent stay. Catering staff went over n beyond to give us absolutely delicious meals each evening Special mention must be made of our personal waiter, V. Suvalakshan who went out of his way to make our dinners an absolute pleasure. Always on time n beautifully prepared n presented. The best hotel compared to all the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Even the front desk staff were very friendly n helpful. My stay in North gate hotel was completely peaceful and nice. The hotel staffs were very friendly and I’m so thankful for the hospitality provided by the entire staffs of the hotel. The foods were delicious too. The hotel manager Sam was a nice person and helpful during my stay there . I highly recommend this place to stay during holidays / visit to Jaffna.

This is one of the best experience I ever had. Best service, best food, amazing staffs, great accommodation. I would come back here and I highly recommend anyone this hotel. Special shout out to Kowshiken, Jeeva, Praveen and Satheesh, the best receptionists in Jaffna!!!!

One of the best places to stay in Jaffna and travel around the city and other tourist attractions. The food was amazing. Authentic Jaffna meals offered here and not over priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. A big Thank you to Thuza and Roshanth for making my daughters Birthday extra special. We hope to visit this lovely hotel on our next visit.

We were there from 7th April to 10th April where had a spent a great holiday with my wife and two kids. We arrived there around 10.30am after 10hrs long drive all the way from GALLE to Jaffna and Hotel was allowed us early check in. Our booking was BB, but the Manager offered us Half board at a discounted price and that was awesome. Food was excellent and we enjoyed with their great hospitality. There is pool at the 1st floor where closer to the restaurant and you can order any foods or drinks to the pool area and enjoy.

The hotel is well positioned in Jaffna. The pool is a little small and has no shade. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Dining experience was OK but the choice was not as extensive as at some other SL hotels. Dining room rather too cool.
