Vor Beginn unserer Amazonas-Fahrt waren wir für 1 Nacht im Hotel Juma Opera. Die Lage ist perfekt zur Besichtigung des Opernhauses, welches man auch unbedingt besichtigen sollte, wenn man in Manaus ist. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank, Safe und Klimaanlage. Wir hatten Blick in den Innenhof und zur Oper. Verkehrslärm haben wir nicht gehört. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Ambiente im Frühstücksraum sehr angenehm. Es gibt auch einen Pool am Dach mit tollem Blick zum Opernhaus. Auch ein Restaurant ist vorhanden, dieses haben wir jedoch nicht genützt. Für einen Aufenthalt in Manaus ist dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

The pictures don’t do it justice. The aesthetics of this hotel are on point the staff friendly knowledgeable and eager to help we spend three nights on this property. It’s across the street from the famous opera house and the city Square with restaurants and live music just across the street.

Very nice hotel conveniently located right across from famous Amazon theatre in Manaus. Breakfast was included in our reservation which was a plus, nice service, helpful staff. They hold your luggage if you stay at their lodge in Amazon which is also helpful. Not too far from airport either so Uber does not cost you much and they organized “ Pink Dolphin interaction your” for us on a very short notice which we appreciated.

First class modern boutique hotel set in the heart of the city directly opposite the Opera House. There is nothing not to like about the hotel. Staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was modern comfortable and had all the facilities you require. Rooftop pool area gives you great views of the Opera House and picturesque Square. It is also the ideal spot to recover from exploring this intresting city in the heart of the Amazon. The hotel also has a comfortable terrace overlooking the street which is great for a cooling drink, then there is the excellent hotel restaurant which serves some very tasty food. It is here you are served the equally good buffet breakfast. This hotel comes highly recommended and we would be happy to return here.

Great hotel with great service Breakfast was excellent Our stay was part of a trip arranged by Untamed Amazon and Untamed Angling. The hotel borders the square and the opera house. On Night we stayed, there was a celebration in the square and the music lasted very late There are nice restaurants around the square. We enjoyed the Tambaqui Grill. We also took the 1/2 day city tour that I recommend. Note that this is the place where Teddy Rosevelt finished his adventure after hisepic trip to discover "The River of Doubt" Read the book before your trip!

This hotel was a delight. It is quite attractive, well appointed, great art and photos along the walls. Quite comfortable. It has a great roof-top pool with an excellent view. And, it has a great, nicely equipped gym. Great music piped in the common area. The outdoor terrace is very nice. The restaurant another gem; in a circular dining room. The dining area is wonderful, and staff cordial despite the language differences. Breakfast buffet superior. It was a great find, and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Beautiful boutique hotel across from the opera house in central Manaus. Wonderful and helpful staff. One of the best massages I’ve had at their spa. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff was great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Mouse, Brazil.

Juma opera is in the most ideal location in Manaus. Set in the main centre and easy to get to by taxi from the airport. It has incredible decor, outstanding service and food and gorgeous facilities for guests to use. We were welcomed with a choice of drinks - different juices made from fruit local to the area. Our room was top quality in every way - comfy bed, great shower, lots of room. We loved our stay and they made our honeymoon very special.

Lovely hotel in downtown in Manaus with close relations to both the Juma Amazon Lodge and the Anavilhanas Lodge. It's an excellent starting point for access to either. The hotel staff is professional, gracious and helpful. The rooftop pool is lovely. And the restaurant breakfast is well rounded and generous. Any visit to Manaus should include this hotel and the nearby Villa Amazona (which is superior in only the finest respects) Also, it's close enough to the massive industrial zone near the port. It does not seem as though the hotels closer to the industrial area are as well formed as Juma Opera or Amazona.
