Quaint but in need of updates. The room was large and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom toilet was loose and the tub didn’t drain well while showering. The water ran hot and cold while showering as well. Loved the live music in the bar area every evening.

The staff was very nice but the rooms need some basic maintenance done. The entry door to the room and to the balcony but needed weather *****ping. Daylight and cold in coming in is not good. Their snow removal was not very good. There was a one shovel width path one the 2nd story walkway. Snow was piled up against the door which then got tracked into the room. The stairs to the 2nd story where not cleared very well at all. there appeared to be plenty of 1st floor rooms available so I am not sure why they even had people in the 2nd floor rooms. There were numerous other little things in the room that needed attention.

If you are looking for a somewhere to lay your head after a long day of skiing this place will do. If you are wanting a romantic getaway I would stay elsewhere. Place is very dated, hot water wasn’t consistent, toilet was loose and there was a pretty good draft from the window. For the price it did the job but that’s about as far as I would go with it.

The Sagebrush Inn was wonderfully quiet and inviting. The front desk staff were friendly an extremely helpful. It was a lovely place to stay during our time in Taos. It certainly helped that we were here during a slower time of year.

Key would not work in door lock. Electronic door lock would not work because of dead batteries in door. locked out on New Years. Not giving refund. Horrible experience.
