Holiday Inn Valdosta Conference Center

There is a restaurant inside of this hotel that seemed like it was going to be a good idea however, once myself and my family sat down to order drinks, The young lady named Louise was extremely rude with us. We sat down at 7pm!! We asked her for certain items-we asked for two beverages from the bar. We got ONE of our beverages 37 minutes from the time we sat down and the bartender girl said, “I might start on the other drink when I feel like it”. We were the only couple Besides two other couples in the restaurant. And none of them ordered from the bar at all so the question was, why are we waiting for the 2nd drink?? I then asked for her to bring me my check so we could leave, as quietly as possible, She then proceeded to yell at me that it was her next to last day so if I didn’t like it, then just call her boss. It wouldn’t matter! She be leaving anyway! I had to ask for my check so that I can leave AGAIN to go and find another establishment to eat at before It was too late in the night to feed my children, this was after 8pm and she still did not give me my ticket. She yelled to me it would just be added to my hotel room! I will NEVER RETURN!!! The hotel room wasn’t in any better shape! I have pictures of the inside of the lamp shade that has splashes left from possibly a spilled beverage? It still should’ve been cleaned, was it not part of the cleaning list. Picture of a beverage ring on the nightstand prior to my family even putting our luggage away! Another picture of what appears to be a “booger” on the wall next to the beds and phone!! There wasn’t any toilet tissue nor any soap in the room upon entering, I had to call twice for soap!! The front desk guy I spoke with twice, was named Joshua. The young lady at the front desk the first day I arrived, Kaitlyn, she was African American I believe was very nice and professional !! George, is the manager I was told and it has been 2 days and haven’t heard from him YET!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

stay was great! great location, around everything you need

Clean and safe. would like to be more descriptive regarding breakfast. Breakfast available is not same as free breakfast! Other hotels nearby have free breakfast and just as clean or cleaner

The dinner I had at the restaurant (salmon with rice and green beans, a cocktail and dessert, all nicely prepared and delivered by friendly waitpersons) was surprisingly good, though the restaurant interior is very unassuming. The beds, bathroom, heat were all very comfortable and appear to have been recently updated. The hotel seemed rather understaffed and it took some prodding to get a replacement light bulb, though the person manning the front desk made it his responsibility to find me one himself and was very nice.

Bartender Amber was fabulous! Best drinks ever! Very friendly staff! Nice clean room!

I felt safe, the staff was very kind and accommodating and place was clean. I loved my omelet from the restaurant... very good value, worth every penny and the waitress was a peach! Very kind.

A little noisy at times from near by car radios other that that great environment to stay will stay again

Got bitten by bed bugs. Didn’t feel the itch until later in the day. So far I’ve counted 15 bites on my arms, chest, neck, and shoulder. They only have one functioning elevator.

Decent hotel however found the television small for the size of the room....
