Wir waren für 6 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Strand, der trotz eines Felsenteppichs in der Mitte des Sandes ein herrliches Bad in diesem wunderbaren Wasser nicht verhindert, da er über einen Steg verfügt, über den Sie problemlos ins Wasser gelangen können . Als positive Aspekte hebe ich die Lage, die Sauberkeit und Dekoration der Zimmer sowie die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals hervor. Die negativen Aspekte sind das eher dürftige Frühstück, das aus Toast mit Butter und Marmelade, Eiern, Speck oder Wurst von sehr schlechter Qualität und einem kleinen Glas Obstsalat besteht. Es gibt keine Käse- oder S*****ensorte usw. Was die Mahlzeiten angeht, die die Kunst des Kochs hervorheben, schien es uns, dass er mit den wenigen verfügbaren Zutaten Wunder vollbrachte!! Die Menüs werden die ganze Woche über wiederholt. Wir haben auch einen Ausflug zu den Inseln unternommen, den wir, abgesehen von der Freundlichkeit des Personals, das uns begleitete, nicht empfehlen können – das Boot war sehr unbequem und führte uns zu einem verlassenen Teil der Insel, der nicht besonders toll ist Interesse. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen und so viel wie möglich von den wundervollen Gewässern und diesem spektakulären Ort genossen!!

Villas do Indico ist eine friedliche Oase am Strand, 7–8 km nördlich von Vilanculo. Luana und das Personal waren ausgezeichnet - freundlich, aufmerksam und kannten sich in der Gegend aus. Die Zimmer waren perfekt. Gut ausgestattet, mit bequemen Betten, Verdunklungsvorhängen und dem größten Moskitonetz, das wir je gesehen haben! Es war perfekt, auf dem Balkon am Rande des Grundstücks zu sitzen und das Meer zu beobachten.
Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass es auf ******* keine Warnung gab, dass für die Zufahrt zum Grundstück unbedingt ein Geländewagen erforderlich sei. Die Sandstraße von der Stadt aus war eine Herausforderung und wir waren dankbar, dass wir ein Fahrzeug mit hoher Bodenfreiheit hatten. Das hat uns jedoch nicht davon abgehalten, es noch einmal zu besuchen, und wir werden wiederkommen!!

The lodge is recovering from the last cyclone that went through Vilanculos. We had a great time, despite a few cosmetic issues that they were working on whilst we were there. The lodge is 10km from Vilanculos and quite remote, which means that you are not harrassed by vendors on the beach, which is fantastic; but it also means that you have to have a 4x4 to go anywhere or hire a transfer. The chefs at the lodge are excellent and able to conjure up delicious dishes from locally sourced fresh fish and other produce. Mario, Reuben and John were on point in the waitering department and Anyway was extremely resourceful at front desk. All the staff and the owner Dona Anna were extremely welcoming to our family and looked after our toddler with great patience and care. On the activities side, do not miss a trip to the islands with Steve in his powerboat Malambo, he was an exceptional guide on the water. Together with his wife Ninon and the deck hand/chief spotter Alex, they made our trip unforgetable with three Dugong and one Turtle sightings in the space of half an hour - with great respect being shown to the marine life, not crowding or harrassing them. Lunch on Benguera, walking in the dunes on Bazaruto with all the pink crabs and swimming in pristine ocean waters made this boat trip a true highlight of our holiday.

We had an amazing stay at the Villas. Thank you to Anna and her professional team. We had an experience of a lifetime going out on the boat to Santa Carolina. Thank you to Steve the skipper and Perdo the helper who made it a day that we will never forget.

i cannot praise Villas Do Indico enough, it’s paradise! The staff is kind and attentive, the rooms/huts are beautifully decorated spotless clean and the linen is soft and clean ( not even a wrinkle!) .It’s an amazing location beautifully kept! The restaurant’s food is very nice I loved their octopus salad.Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights, the road into there is a short 15 minutes 4x4 out of town, make sure you ask the owner for directions do not follow google :-). Very nice complete lodge with great rooms right on the bay, great restaurant!! We booked two day trips to the bazaruto archipel with the neighbor Steve. It was amazing !! Do not miss that !!

We had an incredible stay at Villas do Indico in Vilanculos, Mozambique. The staff's warm welcome, delicious food, and exceptional rooms made our experience truly enjoyable. The highlight was the boat trip to Santa Carolina Island with Ninon and Steve. Steve's expertise as a skipper led us to encounter dolphins and turtles, and snorkeling revealed a vibrant array of fish species. The lunch on the rocks, overlooking the ocean, was a breathtaking experience. Steve's knowledge and dedication ensured our comfort throughout the trip. I highly recommend the boat trip with Ninon and Steve – a truly memorable adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed at Villas do Indico for one night, the place is magical. Very quiet and peaceful in front of the sea. Room is very well decorated and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The only negative points is the wifi very bad everywhere (we booked the night before our long trip back to Jobourg because we had to book/check a few things before departure but couldn’t unfortunately). Also no hot shower when we woke up around 7am.
