BreakFree Grand Pacific Caloundra

Where to start. Our first room was atrocious. We checked in late and went straight for dinner. When we arrived back to our room, I noticed a smell, after 30min my breathing was restricted and I had a headache. I turned the lights on and noticed black mold around the air-conditioning vents and on the ceilings, the floor was also damp in area's. It was 10pm. I went to the reception area, no one there. I called the after hours number, spoke to a lady who advised there was nothing they could do until 8am the next day, when reception opened. Obviously I advised that this was not good enough, the room was affecting my health and I couldn't stay in it. She was not empathetic at all, and could not help until 8am. I asked if they would reimburse me for the cost if anither room, at a different hotel, the answer was no. I went back to my room, and told my wife and two children that they were not going to help until 8am. There was one bedroom without air-conditioning, and little mold. My wife and kids slept in there. I couldn't, i stayed on the balcony for the entire night, getting no sleep. I called WOTIF, initially you guy's were helpful and empathetic. Offered to give me vouchers as compensation. Then I was transferred to a very unhelpful, inconsiderate person who did not want to help.. The following day, at 8am, I politely advised of my dissatisfaction with regards to the service and respect i was afforded as their customer. Still no vouchers from WOTIF..

This is a lovely property, very easy walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants, beach etc. Wonderful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

4/4 of our family loved it. Close to the beach and great pool. Very clean and close to restaurants and cafes.

Mould on bedroom roof. Carpets very dirty. Outdoor spa had no wall outlets only floor ones We needed the back ones as we have back problem. Saudi good. Location good. Reception not helpful when we asked question just told pamphlet over there no inside help on what to do. We will not be coming back to these apar**ents.

Fantastic location with great access to the beach and restaurants.

Overall a good stay. Room was quite tired though and bathrooms very underwhelming. Wifi was very poor and didn’t know how to get it until I asked and then had to join Accor to get it free. No towel change in 7 nights so same towels for showers and pool/spa use. Good location and pool facilities.

The location is fantastic. Walk to everywhere. The furnishings were a little dated but that could not takeaway from the ultimate view. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our second stay at Break Free Grand Pacific Resort in Caloundra. Break Free Grand Pacific Resort is located a really short walk away from Caloundra shops and restaurants. The pool and spa area is really nice and they are a lovely temperature. The view from our appoin**ent was amazing. We did notice that the carpets and mats in our apar**ent were stained in places. Overall we will differently stay at Grand Pacific Resort next time we holiday in Caloundra.

Property was clean safe and quiet. Close to all ammeties and water. We will return..
