Bayview Inn

This place looks great on the outside but I was not impressed by the poor quality inside of the room for the high price we paid. We paid $150 per night for 2 adults and there was only 1 towel, washcloth etc. So I'm glad I brought my own. The jacuzzi tub was dirty, had what looked like nail polish in it as well as some dark spots from something and one of the jets was broken but we didn't use the jets due to them being so loud. The linens looked dirty, the room had a very strong cologne smell like someone had dumped an entire bottle in the room & since I have a condition that makes it hard to breathe around strong scents & it makes me nauseated I had to open all of the windows & sometimes I would have to stand out in the hallway. The alarm clock needed to be updated,it looked like it was from the 50s, the shower faucet was coming off off the wall, there was only two pillows and the bed will leave you sore the next morning. The good things about the stay here was the tv & The friendliness of the staff. As for parking, there is very little so good luck finding a spot especially if you're driving a large vehicle. There's no breakfast offered but they do have coffee in the office. Over all I was thankful to have a warm place to stay & I appreciate The friendly attitudes of the staff.

Booked non-refundable. Mistake 1. Entry carpet was wet, girl at front desk had no idea what it was and had no interest in finding out or doing anything about it. The carpet was dirtier than any place I have ever stayed.The blankets had an old musty odor to them that you didn’t want anywhere near your skin or face they also had first and leaves in the blankets.

Came in on a motorcycle. Good size room. Was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Took advantage of the inexpensive/clean laundry facilities. Harbor and restaurants within walking distance. Great price for a very decent hotel.

We loved our stay! My two grown boys and I were able to spread out and be comfortable! The room was incredibly huge with 3 queen beds and places to sit and write. Even a big closet in the back! It was just what we needed after a long day in the car.

Well, we were going to stay in Cresent City. Got a hotel room with a jacuzzi. Opened the door and the odor of smoke came from our non smoking room. We could maybe deal with that, but then the jacuzzi didn't work ( which we paid extra for) . Called down and girl said she be up to take a look. 20 minutes, still no person so My husband called down again. I pulled down the bed covers and clearly they had not washed it and had black things on the sheets. My husband tells the front desk we are just going to stay someplace else and get a refund. They refused. We put the suitcases in the car and went to the front desk and the person at the desk said she would leave a note for the manager in morning. I explained the all of the problems and she asked me to leave and walked away. I stepped outside to return the card keys and she locked me out of the lobby. I put the card keys under the window.

Booked hotel on ***********. For Sept 24-25th. When I booked the room I never got a confirmation # from booking (not sure why). When I arrived, the receptionist said that she had a reservation. So I was good to go. (Later I checked bank and the charge hit.) When I walked into room I noticed that the hotel is in bad need of repairs, in general it looks pretty run down. In the room the shower would not come on and the receptionist said you had to yank real hard. It came on finally. Hair dryer was dangling from one screw. The hotel is not exactly what I would call clean and well taken care of. The hotel is right next to highway 101, so there is also a lot of traffic noise. Upon checking out, I went to get a receipt and the receptionist and the extremely rude manager refused. I stated that I did not get one from *********** and I need a receipt as it is business travel, to no avail. I emailed them later, again asking for receipt, no response. I even include a statement from *********** that the establishment is to provide invoices to no avail. So, I would suggest going somewhere else unless you like loud noises, dirt, and rudeness. If I was the manager I would bend over backwards to assure that my customers were satisfied.

We stayed one night at this hotel after visiting the Redwood National/State Parks. Pros: 1. Location is convenient - The north end of Redwood Park on Hwy 101 2. A reasonable room rate 3. Restaurant, aquarium, gas station (Chevron), market, and liquor store are all next to this hotel 4. Parking space and WiFi connectivity were good (nothing special) Cons: 1. No breakfast is offered (Coffee is available in the lobby and each room)

Enjoyable stay, 3rd floor nice view, Nice and clean. Well worth the money. They have breakfast too. Slept well and we'll stay there again. Room was airy and enjoyable great room for the price and we had a view

The entire room was awesome. The pillows were big fluffy. The bed had soft fleece blankets. The jacuzzi in the room had plenty of hot water. There was even a bath tub that worked crazy right. Oh best part it had a clock/ alarm/ radio I love the radio.
