The room was clean, but small and very dark. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent and the drain was clogged-the floor would fill up to your ankles while you tried to shower.
Positives: Staff were friendly, Breakfast was incredible, Pool was nice. Room was quiet

Great find, Pool & courtyard perfect for afternoon break from touristing. Only one minor flaw: the towels are a bit scratchy.

Beautiful building but…
Expensive for what you get.
Noisy in some rooms.
Shower didnt drain.
Pool area needs better chais and some chair cushions were dirty.
Not accurate info about airport shuttle.
Staff was friendly.

The hotel is ideally located by the zocalo, near restaurants, the marketplace, and sites to visit. Everything is an easy walk. The hotel has a lovely courtyard where breakfast is served and another courtyard where there is a pool and bar, ideal for when the afternoon gets too hot.
Service was friendly and polite and check-in and check out was prompt and efficient.

As first-time visitors to Oaxaca, we loved the central location of Hotel de la Parra and the easy walking distance to the main plaza and sights. The staff was warm and friendly, helping us with airport transportation and the like. Our bed was super comfy! The hotel is in a beautifully restored building in the historic core. Highly recommend.

It was my first time in Oaxaca and choose this hotel because of the location and previous reviews. The property is beautiful and the rooms are very well maintained. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Doña Flor in the kitchen made us delicious breakfast to order each day. Edna and Veronica in the front desk were the best. They were always available to us and suggested local places to visit. I highly recommend this hotel.The pictures do not do justice!
