Das Hotel liegt direkt in der Altstadt und daher kann man alles prima zu Fuß erkunden. Die Zimmer sind recht ordentlich eingerichtet und top sauber. Die A**osphäre im ehemaligen Klostergebäude ist urig und speziell. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dadurch dass das Hotel inmitten der Altstadt liegt sollte man auf jeden Fall ein ruhig gelegenes Zimmer anfragen.
Nur das Frühstück war doch sehr einfach und ist verbesserungsfähig.
Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

It's just fabulous! From the staff at the main desk to the staff in charge of the gate at the parking lot, they all were wonderful!!
Rooms are quiet, clean, and the building has a an outstanding colonial architecture. It's close to the main touristic attractions in downtown Popayán. Highly recommended!

This is not only a hotel, but also a party center. Both days I stayed there appeared to be a party in an event room of the hotel, the first evening even until 3 AM. This caused a lot of noise nuisance, not only from the music, but especially from the partygoers who had to walk to and from the party room through the courtyard of the hotel, while it is very noisy in that courtyard.
Advantages are the attractive building - a former monastery - and the location of the hotel - near the center.
Breakfast is very basic. The same goes for the rooms. Part of it is currently being renovated.
The service is mediocre; the reception was often unmanned.

Excellent and easy on site parking, two exceptional staff members, exceptional, given a room overlooking the breakfast area so not happy with the room, not happy at all. NOT good internet, kept going in and out. This is a beautiful property but I would never stay there again, highly over rated.

Adequate hotel in a lovely colonial cloister. A bit dated and old fashioned but with spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a disappoin**ent but ok. Delicious mango, pineapple and papaya and they make fresh eggs for you. But they could be a bit more adventurous with the fruits offered, the breads could be better, and the juices are simply awful… they are watered down so much that they don’t taste of anything.
