Sand Pebbles Inn

A bit run down. Which wouldn't be too bad, but there's also the grouchiest staff you'll ever encounter. We will look elsewhere for our next time on Qualicum Beach. We can overlook a lot, but poor staff attitude is

An older property located right on the beach and just a short drive to town Center. Restaurants within walking distance of motel as is a small convenience store. Large rooms with balconies overlooking garden and seashore. Very comfortable!!

An older motel, but the room we had was a good size and recently renovated. Very nice and comfortable. Lots of new linen and our room was spotlessly clean. Located within a two minute drive to the town center and right on the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. We will stay again, thankyou for your hospitality!

Great location on the beach. Parking out front. Check-in was easy. King Room with kitchen was spacious. Office was quick to give us anything we needed. We were very comfortable here for 10 days. Facing West, we got the evening light, which was great when we were sitting on the patio. It was hard to keep the morning light out in the mornings though. Walking to local sights, like the Saturday Market, brewery and grocery, was pretty easy, but you have to climb a steep hill! Restaurants are within walking distance on the beach too.

Interior was tastefully updated with notably high quality fixtures.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Sand Pebbles Inn. They took us last minute and gave us a discounted rate for be stranded from our home town, Port Alberni. Very much appreciated. Although, going through some renovations, the rooms are clean and inviting. Thanks again

The location was great & the room was clean but those are the only positives I can say. We had 3 rooms booked for our family to attend a very special event for our grandson. We were aware of the check in time of 4 pm but had called and were told to call on the day of arrival and they would attempt to accommodate us. We were only asking for one room to be available by 2 pm for showering & dressing. We ended up booking other accommodations at a nearby hotel to shower, dress to be ready for our event which was formal. Checked in at 4pm dropped off baggage hurrying to get to event but my husband left something behind and went back to room. The door was open and the clerk was in there. She rushed out when he walked in with no explanation for being there.Once we have the key no one should enter without our permission. Our daughters room was double booked and someone walked in while they were there with a key! Overall it was not a pleasant experience at Sand Pebbles Inn Qualicum.

This room was very comfortable, looked to be newly re-done. Shower water pressure was amazing and hot. Lots of towels and 2 queen beds. A 3 burner stove and oven and many cooking supplies. Check in and out was easy and friendly. Before checking in we went to Little Qualicum Falls, close by. Had dinner close by at Qualicum Inn. On our way to Tofino so just spent 1 night here.

We enjoyed our only night at the Sand Pebbles Inn. It was our first time in Qualicum Beach. At first I was a little put off by the exterior as we approached the Inn as is looked a little run down but the room inside was very nice and comfortable. I think it was updated recently. Unfortunately we were not made aware that the Seawall had collapsed recently so unfortunately even though we had an ocean view it was obstructed by orange netting contouring the area to be repaired and no one could use that sitting area which is one of the nice feature of the Inn. I am only giving a 4 and not a 5 because If I had known that I probably would of booked somewhere else, but we were only told at our arrival. We did go and take a walk on the beach to capture the beautiful sunset, we could not really take good picture off the balcony because of the Seawall but it that had not been an issue I would of given 5 stars.
