Wasn't very impressed with the place. The people were nice, but it was always hard to find someone at the desk. They were just never at the desk and even calling out for them didn't bring anyone.
Especially frustrating was the fact that my mother was very ill and needed the elevator so I specifically asked at checkin about their elevator and was told they had one and there was no problem. The next morning I find it in pieces in the hallway at breakfast and am told it's a planned maintenance. Won't be fixed that day. I had to call my aunt from an hour away to come and help me get my mom down the stairs for her medical appointment, and it worsened her a lot with the pulling and trying to walk and hold on to the rail. She barely got to the ground floor. I don't care about maintenance but if I specifically ask about the elevator you should warn people.
It was average otherwise. I'd give it 3 stars for how nice it was but it is in a good location.

Property is mostly nice. The noise was a tad much, mostly the slamming doors. The dead mouse on the rocks by the hot tub was a bit concerning.

At first glance this hotel seems really nice. The amenities are great. We just wanted to take the kids swimming and get out of the house in mid winter. The pool was freezing. It was an indoor outdoor pool. The hot tub was nice and warm though. It was also huge! This hotel needs a good cleaning. It looked as though our toilet had not been cleaned, a little dirty around the edges of the carpet, in the hallway, and elevator. Just little things that made me think housekeeping was probably not doing a great job. My son had a remote control car that he drove under a bed and that is when we decided to pack it up and go home. It needs a serious deep cleaning. We were only 25 minutes from home. As I said before this place seemed at first glance to be very nice, but I do not feel comfortable staying somewhere that is that dirty when I can stay at my own home when I do not have to worry about things like that. They have a lot of perks to offer that were great when we checked in also.

This the second time we’ve stayed at a Stoney creek! Had a wonderful stay, clean comfortable, goo breakfast and very friendly staff!

The hotel attendant was helpful. The pillows were hard and sheets a bit scratchy- didn’t have a hair dryer - there was a holder for one -the outlet cover was broken and missing a piece. The bed was comfortable. Overall I would rate the hotel 2 star. Condition vs price.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious and clean. All staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very satisfying. Definitely staying here on our next trip out this way.

Our suite has dirty sheets in pullout bed, previous guest left swimsuit in bathroom, hair tie in pullout bed, now pool towels, showers in pool don’t function. A bit disappointing.

It's increasingly rare to find hotels that can accommodate families, be family-friendly, be affordable, be comfortable, and have overall good value. This was one such place. Was glad to find it and would certainly stay again.
