The phoenix has very spacious suites with two or three bedrooms. The view from our view is beautiful. The staff at the resort are very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help. Definitely recommended!

We stayed at The phoniex for 5 days. All of the staff was friendly, helpful and went out of thier way to help if needed. We had some activities arranged and it went smoothly. They offer alot of activities to sign up for depending on the day. We will go back if we get the chance.

We visited the Phoenix in March of 2024. I really had no idea what to expect, I have never been to Belize and my expectations were blown away. First off, the Phoenix is located right in the heart of town but right on the water. You can get anything you need with a quick scenic walk. The hotel is beautiful. The pools are great. The staff was incredible. The rooms were BIG, the beds were comfy and the atmosphere was excellent. The kids club was really fun, they have a nice safe place to park your rented golf cart (I recommend doing this) and the bar by the pool even has a complimentary happy hour. We were so close to all our excursions, which the hotel booked for all 8 of us. We were constantly on some sort of adventure, swimming with sharks, sailing, snorkeling etc- but when we get back to the hotel after a long day, we were welcomed and it felt like home. I don't think I ever want to vacation anywhere else.

The Phoenix resort was perfect for our family vacation! Close proximity to walk to restaurants, breakfast/coffee spots, grocery stores and excursion pick ups!! The staff is over the top! Front desk will do/get anything for you, if they don’t have it and you need/want it they will find it and deliver it to your room!! We stayed in the three bedroom, first floor unit and we loved it! All rooms, bathrooms, living area had more room than we needed! It’s Location to the pool was ideal!! We used the pool so much and the pool/bar staff were very helpful with local suggestions and anything we needed to eat and drink! Food was excellent!!! Drinks were delicious, especially the welcome drink!!! Can’t imagine being in San Pedro, Belize and not staying at the Phoenix Resort!!!

Phoenix Resort is definitely your stay when on Ambergris Caye. Pamela and Candice welcomed us with friendly smiles and cold beverages. Candice gave us a quick tour around the property before showing us to our room. The room was beautiful, clean and cold. There was a table with our names on a card making it very personable. We also received a bottle of belizean rum and Coke and sweet treats. Our view was spectacular. The bed was nice and comfy, there was a keurig machine with coffee (it was nice to have decaf) and tea .The extra touches to our stay were a table top mirror in the bathroom especially that one side was magnified, robe and slippers and all the other amenities. The staff arranged for dinner at Elvi’s, a snorkeling and shark ray alley tour, taxi pick up and drop off. I enjoyed a conch ceviche with homemade corn tortillas at Red Ginger. The Phoenix is at a convenient location, it is beautiful and staff is wonderful.

There’s a reason The Phoenix Resort is #1 of 67 hotels in San Pedro and I’ll tell you why. Our 2 BR / 2 BA unit with huge sun patio had absolutely everything we could need. We were a family of 4 traveling to Belize for the first time and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of lodging. Right in the center of everything with access to great eats, superb drinks and the best pool area on SP. Happy Hour every night from 4-5 PM so you can mingle with fellow guests or just watch the kids swim into the evening. We did sushi up the beach one night at Blue Water Grill. Burgers and pizza up the other way to The Sandbar or out on the dock to Palapa. It was a great stay and we ate several meals at the on-site restaurant Red Ginger. Great communication from booking to arrival, during our stay and even while we were waiting to fly back to BZE on our way home. Candice, Pamela and Jorge at the front desk, Rolando at the bar. Can’t wait until our return but I truly can’t say enough about Phoenix. Top Tier vacation in the chaos of San Pedro.

The service and accommodation were fantastic. The staff was delightful and very helpful. The property was clean and well kept. The breakfast was delicious. The location was super convenient to restraints and activities. We would definitely stay there again!

The staff is very attentive and kind. Everyone was very welcoming and informative and always had a smile on their face. They made us feel very special. From booking our flights to food tour, they saw to many details that made it easier for us to enjoy our time.

Our 2nd time here and absolutely fabulous hospitality and clean 1st class accommodations. Their concierge and personalized service is unmatched and that combined with a beautiful setting in the heart of San Pedro making many activities walkable, it can't be beat.
